Jorge Luis Valderrama (also: Jorge Balderrama ; * February 12 or December 12, 1906 , † 1968 ) was a Bolivian football player and coach .

Career

With the national team of Bolivia , the midfielder took part as a player- coach at the Campeonato Sudamericano in 1926 . Valderrama was used in three games against Argentina (0: 5), Paraguay (1: 6) and Uruguay (0: 6); in the game against Chile (1: 7) he did not line up. At the Campeonato Sudamericano 1927 , the player- coach ran in two more games against Argentina (1: 7) and Peru (2: 3) for the national team; again, he did not play in a game in the 9-0 defeat against Uruguay . In July 1930, the Oruro Royal player was part of the national team at the first World Cup in Uruguay . Valderrama played under coach Ulises Saucedo in both World Cup games against Yugoslavia (0: 4) and Brazil (0: 4). Between 1926 and 1930 Valderrama was used in seven of the first nine internationals of the Bolivian national team.
