Jorik Hendrickx (born May 18, 1992 in Turnhout , Flanders ) is a Belgian figure skater who starts in a single run .
Career
Hendrickx became Belgian champion in 2010 in the absence of compatriot Kevin van der Perren, who was ten years his senior . He then made his debut at the European Championships and finished in 20th place. A year later he also made his debut at world championships and reached 19th place.
At the European Championships in 2012 , Hendrickx made it into the top ten for the first time in ninth place at European Championships.
At the 2016 World Championships , Hendrickx achieved his best result so far at World Championships with 16th place .
The European Championship in 2017 , ending Hendrickx in fourth place and achieved his best result at the European Championships . He set personal bests in both segments as well as the overall performance (242.56 points).
At the Nebelhorn Trophy 2017, he again increased his personal best and thus secured a starting place at the 2018 Winter Olympics, which he had missed at the 2017 World Cup .
