José Félix Uriburu
José Félix Benito Uriburu y Uriburu (born July 20, 1868 in Salta , † April 29, 1932 in Paris ) was an Argentine general . After a military coup he was de facto president of Argentina from September 8, 1930 to February 20, 1932 .
Life
José Félix Uriburu was the nephew of José Evaristo Uriburu , who was Argentine President from 1895 to 1898. In 1930 he led a military coup against incumbent President Hipólito Yrigoyen with the participation of the right-wing Argentine party Liga Patriótica Argentina . With the success of this coup, the década infame (German: infamous decade) began in Argentina .
