society

After a solid second division season in 1992/93, Mallorca only failed to gain immediate promotion in the relegation games. Gálvez himself scored 15 hits. He was then courted by some first division and joined the season 1993/94 for FC Valencia .

Gálvez played for the first time in the UEFA Cup with Valencia . Overall, however, the Spaniard only started 16 times at his new club in the following two years. Therefore, the 1995/96 season was a kind of breakthrough for Gálvez: He made 27 games from the start, was the second best scorer behind Predrag Mijatović with 11 goals and was runner-up with his club.

Due to an injury, Gálvez missed a participation in the 1996 Summer Olympics . He was then unable to build on his previous performances at Valencia CF. In the 1996/97 season he lost his regular place and returned to the second division RCD Mallorca on loan for the winter break . Here he immediately succeeded in promotion to the Primera División . The loan contract with Gálvez was then extended for another year. But the Spaniard was not able to play in the team in Mallorca from then on.

In 1998 Gálvez moved to the first division club Betis Sevilla . With the Andalusians he climbed down and up again. Due to lack of matches he joined in 2001, again on loan to second division FC Burgos , with whom he promptly in the Segunda División B descent. Then Gálvez decided to end his professional career at the age of 27. At the amateur level, he played for clubs in his home region for another year.
