José García y Más
José García y Más (* 1945 in Santa Cruz de La Palma ) is a Spanish painter.
From 1958 to 1963 García y Más studied painting and drawing at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Santa Cruz de Tenerife . From 1970 to 2003 he lived in Berlin . From 1974 to 1980 he studied supply engineering at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and obtained an engineering degree. He has been based on Usedom since 2003 . In 2004 he joined the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Artists' Association . In his oil paintings and pen drawings, García y Más deals critically and satirically with issues of politics, the environment, nature and society. His works have been exhibited in Berlin, Graz , Anklam , Greifswald , Rostock , Copenhagen , Munich , Rozelle / Ayr and Usedom.
