José Guadalupe Flores
José Guadalupe Flores ( 1943 or 1944 - April 25, 2012 in Morelia , Michoacán ) was a Mexican football player in the position of a striker .
Life
José Guadalupe Flores Hernández, also known by the nicknames Lupe and Lupillo (both shorthands for his second and more frequently used first name), was a professional football player with his hometown club Atlético Morelia and between 1968 and 1971 with the CD Cruz Azul . With the latter club, Flores won the Mexican championship twice and the Mexican cup competition , the Supercup and the CONCACAF Champions Cup once each .
Lupe Flores spent much of his life in the Colonia Felícitas del Río of Morelia, where he lived in a house at number 95 on calle José Pilar Ruiz , where he died on April 25, 2012 at the age of 68. His remains were interred in the Jardines del Tiempo cemetery in Morelia.
