José Homobono Anaya y Gutiérrez (born November 10, 1836 in Pegueros , Jalisco , Mexico , † December 10, 1906 in Chilpancingo , Guerrero ) was Bishop of Chilapa .

Life

José Bono Homo Anaya y Gutiérrez received on 3 March 1860, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He became a doctor of theology doctorate .

On November 28, 1898, Pope Leo XIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Sinaloa . José Homobono Anaya y Gutiérrez received episcopal ordination on February 12, 1899 . The inauguration took place on March 20 of the same year. On November 9, 1902 Leo XIII appointed him. to the Bishop of Chilapa. The inauguration took place on December 11th of the same year.
