Joseíto (real name José Iglesias Fernández ; born December 23, 1926 in Zamora , † July 12, 2007 ) was a Spanish football player .
career
Joseíto's professional football career lasted from 1943 to 1961. Of those 18 years, he spent eight with Real Madrid and eleven with smaller clubs, where he was under contract for one to three years. The latter include Real Valladolid , Racing Santander and UD Levante , among others .
The greatest successes of his career, however, Joseíto celebrated with the capital club Real Madrid, where he played from 1951 to 1959. From 1955 to 1959 he won the European Cup with Real Madrid four times in a row . In addition, he won the Spanish championship three times during this time .
In 1952, Joseíto played his only international match for the Spanish selection against Germany .
