José Lello
José Manuel Lello Ribeiro de Almeida (* May 18, 1944 - October 14, 2016 ) was a Portuguese politician of the Partido Socialista (PS).
Career
Lello finished his engineering studies with a degree. Since May 1983 he was a member of the Assembleia da República . In the cabinet of Prime Minister António Guterres he was minister for youth and sport from 14 September 2000 to 6 April 2002.
From 2007 to 2008 he was President of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO .
