José Martín de Aldehuela (born November 5, 1729 in Manzanera , Teruel Province, Aragon , † September 7, 1802 in Málaga ) was a Spanish architect and builder .

Some of his most significant structures are the Plaza de Toros in Ronda , Spain and a water supply in Málaga known as the Aqueduct of San Telmo. The construction time of this project was extended due to financial difficulties of the client.

His greatest masterpiece is the New Bridge in Ronda over the Tajo Gorge. It took around 40 years to build. It was so impressive that, according to some sources, the master threw himself off the bridge shortly after it was completed, believing that he would never be able to build such a structure again. What is certain is that he died in Málaga in 1802, where he had previously built other structures.
