Josef Šilhavý
Josef Šilhavý (born December 17, 1946 in Petrovice u Sušice ) is a former Czech discus thrower who competed for Czechoslovakia .
At the European Athletics Championships in Rome in 1974 he was eliminated from the qualification.
In 1976 he came in 13th place at the Olympic Games in Montreal . At the EM 1978 in Prague he did not get beyond the preliminary round.
In 1977 he became Czechoslovakian champion. He set his personal best of 64.90 m on August 20, 1975 in Nitra .
He is married to the discus thrower and shot putter Zdeňka Šilhavá .
