Josef Fink (politician, 1894)
Josef Fink (born February 13, 1894 in Innsbruck ; † May 22, 1973 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).
Life
After attending grammar school in Hall in Tirol and studying history and geography at the University of Innsbruck , he became a qualified parliamentary stenographer . In 1919 he took over the Volderwildbad guesthouse in Tyrol, which was connected to a sawmill and agriculture. From 1928 to 1936 he was mayor of the community of Großvolderberg , and from 1936 to 1938 a member of the Tyrolean state parliament . In 1939 he was sent to prison and in 1944 to the Reichenau camp . From 1949 to 1962 he was a member of the National Council for the ÖVP .
