Josef Häusle
Josef Häusle (born March 26, 1860 in Feldkirch ; † December 23, 1939 there ) was a Catholic priest and naturopath .
Life
From 1884 to 1887 he studied at the Collegio Teutonico di Santa Maria dell'Anima and obtained a theological doctorate. From 1885 to 1887 he worked in pastoral care in Frastanz and Tisis near Feldkirch. From September 6, 1887 to August 1, 1901 he worked as a parish provisional in Tisis. He promoted spiritual communities, founded schools and in 1899/1900 the Antoniushaus Feldkirch on the bladder mountain. The Antoniushaus was initially a cooking and housekeeping school as well as a retreat home for women. He also had great success with the herbal remedies Haimakainizon and the ointment Myrisma . These remedies were u. a. also produced in the Ofteringen monastery . He used the profit generated exclusively for social institutions. He was close friends with Pius X and received the honorary title of Monsignor .
