Josef Imbach (athlete)
Josef Imbach (born December 15, 1894 in Lyss , † September 14, 1964 in Geneva ) was a Swiss sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi- finals over 200 m . In the 4 x 100 meter relay , he was eliminated with the Swiss team in the preliminary run.
In 1924 he was at the Olympic Games in Paris about 400 meters into the final, did not reach there but the goal. In the 4 x 100 meter relay, he was part of the Swiss quartet that was disqualified in the final.
