Josef Krieger (administrative officer)

Josef Krieger (born February 17, 1878 in Strasbourg ; † June 20, 1938 ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Josef Krieger studied law at the University of Strasbourg . In 1897 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Strasbourg . After completing his studies, he entered the administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . In 1910 he was a government assessor in Mulhouse . From 1912 to 1918 he was district director of the Saarburg district . After the First World War , he lived as a lawyer and notary in Hanau until his death in 1938 .
