Josef Ludes

Josef Ludes (born March 21, 1912 in Dörbach , † March 13, 1985 in Saarburg ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( SPD ).

Life

After graduating from elementary school, Ludes first attended the secondary school in Wittlich . From there he moved to the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Trier , where he graduated from high school. In 1935 he joined the Prussian financial administration. In 1938 he passed the examination as a tax inspector and then worked as a civil servant at the tax office in Saarburg. From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier .

After the end of the war, Ludes resumed his work in the Saarburg financial administration. In 1955 he was promoted to chief tax inspector and in 1967 to tax officer. His retirement took place as a government councilor.

Ludes joined the SPD in 1947. From 1948 to 1962 he was chairman of the Saarburg SPD local association and was later elected chairman of the Saarburg SPD district association. From 1948 he was a member of the city council of Saarburg and the district council of the Saarburg district , from 1964 also a member of the district committee. In both local parliaments he was chairman of the social democratic parliamentary group. After the municipal reorganization , he was a member of the municipal council of the Saarburg association from 1970 to 1984 .

In the state elections in 1959 , Ludes was elected as a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament, to which he was a member until 1971. In the state parliament he was chairman of the border region committee from 1963 to 1967. His political focus was on tax and viticulture policy. In the elections to the Bundestag he ran as a candidate in 1957 and 1961 , but won no mandate.

Josef Ludes was married and had three children.
