Josef Paulini
Josef Paulini ( January 14, 1770 in Nižná Slaná - January 16, 1806 in Lemberg ) was an Evangelical Lutheran pastor and the first superintendent of the Evangelical Church in Galicia and Bukovina .
biography
Josef Paulini studied Protestant theology in Jena . With Superintendent Johann Traugott Bartelmus he passed a corresponding test. In 1791 he allowed him to be employed in all parts of the Teschen diocese and to preach publicly.
He was a pastor in Návsí from 1792 to 1804 . In 1804 he was appointed pastor in Lemberg and soon afterwards as the first superintendent of the Evangelical Church AB in Galicia and Bukovina by court decree.
His brother was Superintendent Andreas Paulini .
