Josef Vieler
Josef Vieler (born August 24, 1883 in Genna , today the city of Iserlohn ; † January 1, 1958 ibid) was a German entrepreneur, local politician and honorary district administrator ( center and CDU ).
Life and work
After attending school, he completed an engineering degree and then worked as a plant manager. In 1952 he founded Gebrüder Vieler GmbH with his brother . The company dealt with metal processing. Much was married and had six children.
From 1929 to 1933 he was a member of the city council of the former city of Letmathe for the center . From 1948 to 1956 he was mayor of Letmathe. He was a member of the district council of the former Iserlohn district from 1952 to 1964. From December 5, 1952 to November 23, 1954, Vieler was district administrator for the district.
In addition to political activities, many people were particularly involved in the parish of St. Kilian .
