Joseph of Chrismar

Josef von Chrismar (* around 1803; † 1875 ) was an administrative officer.

Life

Josef von Chrismar studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1823 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . After completing his studies, he became a legal intern in 1825 and a district assessor in Constance in 1829 . In 1832 he was promoted to government assessor and in 1838 to government councilor. In 1840 he was transferred to Mannheim . 1851 Chrismar became a bailiff and Office Director of the Country Office Freiburg appointed. In 1856 he moved to the district office of Konstanz as an official director . In 1862 he retired. In 1868 he was one of the founding members of the Association for the History of Lake Constance and its Surroundings .
