Joseph Arregui y Yparaguirre
Joseph Arregui y Yparaguirre (born September 3, 1903 in Berástegui ( Gipuzkoa ), † August 5, 1979 in Kaohsiung , Taiwan ) was a Spanish Roman Catholic clergyman, Dominican and Prefect of the Apostolic Prefecture of Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
Life
Arregui y Yparaguirre was ordained a priest on July 28, 1928. In 1948 the Holy See appointed him Prefect of the Apostolic Prefecture of Formosa (converted to the Apostolic Prefecture of Kaohsiung in 1949 ). He held this office until he retired in 1961.
