Joseph Dalman

Joseph Dalman (born October 31, 1882 in Regensburg , † June 20, 1944 in Munich ; born Joseph Dallmeier ) was a German screenwriter .

Life

He began as a novelist and from 1927 worked as a screenwriter for Munich and Nuremberg film companies. His subjects mostly played in Bavarian surroundings. Franz Seitz senior often directed with Joe Stöckel as the main actor. Immediately before the National Socialists came to power, he wrote the script for the NSDAP-friendly production SA Mann Brand for producer and director Franz Seitz . In later years he was involved in several film adaptations of Ludwig Ganghofer's novels for the Munich producer Peter Ostermayr .
