Joseph Ha Chi-shing

Joseph Ha Chi-shing OFM ( Chinese  夏志誠  /  夏志诚 , Pinyin Xià Zhìchéng , Jyutping Haa 6 Zi 3 sing 4 ; born March 4, 1959 in Hong Kong ) is auxiliary bishop in Hong Kong .

Life

Joseph Ha Chi-shing joined the religious order of the Franciscans in and put on 27 August 1988, the perpetual profession . He received on 9 September 1990, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 11 July 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Chemtou and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Hong Kong. The Bishop of Hong Kong, John Tong Hon Cardinal , gave him as well as Stephen Lee Sang Bun and Michael Yeung Ming-cheung on 30 August of the same year, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop Emeritus of Hong Kong, Joseph Cardinal Zen Ze-kiun SDB , and the Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Curia Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai SDB.
