Joseph Karikkassery
Joseph Karikkassery (born February 13, 1946 in Karthedom ) is Bishop of Kottapuram .
Life
Joseph Karikkassery was ordained a priest on February 8, 1981 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 25, 2006 titular bishop of Buxentum and auxiliary bishop in Verapoly .
The Archbishop of Verapoly , Daniel Acharuparambil OCD , donated him episcopal ordination on December 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Maria Callist Soosa Pakiam , Archbishop of Trivandrum , and Francis Kallarakal , Bishop of Kottapuram.
He was appointed bishop of Kottapuram on December 18, 2010, and was instituted on February 13 of the next year.
