Joseph Kopacz
Joseph Kopacz (born September 16, 1950 in Dunmore , Pennsylvania ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Jackson .
Life
Joseph Kopacz received the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Scranton on May 7, 1977 .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Jackson on December 12, 2013 . The Archbishop of Mobile , Thomas John Rodi , ordained him episcopal on February 6 of the following year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Scranton , Joseph Charles Bambera , and his predecessor Joseph Nunzio Latino .
