Joseph Nzau

Joseph Nzau (born April 14, 1952 ) is a former Kenyan long-distance runner who specialized in marathons .

Life

In 1982 Nzau was second in the Chicago Marathon behind the American Greg Meyer . The following year he won the Falmouth Road Race and won the Chicago Marathon in a personal best of 2:09:45 hours. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles he was seventh in the marathon and 14th in the 10,000 meter run . In 1990 he won the Belgrade Marathon .

Joseph Nzau is 1.73 m tall and weighed 64 kg when he was active. From 1977 to 1982 he attended the University of Wyoming .
