Giuseppe Pietro "Joseph" Pepé (born March 5, 1881 in Manchester , † 1970 in London ) was a British marksman .
successes
Joseph Pepé participated in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in four disciplines with the small bore rifle. On the vanishing goal he just missed a medal win in the individual as fourth, while he finished 14th in the prone position. In the team competition in the prone position, the British prevailed with 762 points against the remaining five teams and were Olympic champions ahead of the Swedes and the Americans . With 189 points, Pepé was the third best shooter in the team, which also included William Pimm , Robert Murray and Edward Lessimore . The team competition for the vanishing goal ended Pepé together with William Pimm, William Milne and William Styles on the silver rank behind the Swedish and in front of the US team. He achieved the second best result of the British team with 235 points.
