Konstantinos Skarlatos ( Greek Κωνσταντίνος Σκαρλάτος , born March 27, 1877 in Athens , † 1969 ) was a Greek marksman and lieutenant general .

successes

Konstantinos Skarlatos took part in the 1906 Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens and the 1912 Summer Olympic Games in Stockholm . In 1906 he was 15th with the rapid fire pistol and fifth with the free revolver. With the military revolver from the model year 1864 he only achieved 17th place, while with the dueling pistol he just missed winning a medal at 20 m in fourth. He finally succeeded in this with the duel pistol at 30 m when he won the gold medal in front of Johan Hübner von Holst and Vilhelm Carlberg . Six years later he finished 30th in the individual competitions with the free pistol and 27th with the dueling pistol. He finished the two team competitions in fifth place.

Skarlatos graduated from the Military Academy in 1892 as a lieutenant in the artillery and subsequently fought in the Turkish-Greek War and the Balkan Wars . From 1921 to 1922 he headed the Army Academy. He retired as a lieutenant general .
