Joseph Peter Michael Denning (born January 4, 1907 in Flushing , USA ; † February 12, 1990 ) was auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn .

Life

Joseph Peter Michael Denning received on 21 May 1932, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 24, 1959, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Mallus and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn. The Bishop of Brooklyn, Bryan Joseph McEntegart , donated to him on April 22 of that year, the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishop in New York , James Henry Ambrose Griffiths , and the Coadjutor Bishop of Lafayette, Indiana , John Carberry .

On April 13, 1982 Pope John Paul II accepted Joseph Peter Michael Denning's resignation because of his age.
