Joseph Willebrand

Joseph (also Josef) Ignaz Willebrand (born April 3, 1829 in Ennigerloh , † June 16, 1922 in Warendorf ) was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

Life

After graduating from high school in Münster, he attended the universities of Bonn , Munich and Berlin to study law . In 1849 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Bonn . After graduating, he entered the Prussian judicial service. In 1851 he was appointed ausculator . In 1858 he was trainee lawyer and from 1856 court assessor . Between 1861 and 1875 he was a district judge in Oelde . After that he was district judge or district judge in Warendorf until 1894 . He took part in the war of 1866 as a Landwehr officer .

He was a member of the Center Party and, in 1892, succeeded the resigned Hubert Pellengahr as a member of the constituency 205 (Münster 5: Warendorf-Beckum-Lüdinghausen) until 1908.
