Josephine sticker
Josephine Sticker (born July 7, 1894 in Vienna ; † September 10, 1960 ) was an Austrian swimmer .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, swimming competitions for women were on the program for the first time. On July 8th, Sticker was eliminated from the 100-meter freestyle competition in the third run. On July 15, 1912, Margarete Adler , Klara Milch , Josephine Sticker and Bertha Zahourek won the bronze medal in the 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay behind the relays from the United Kingdom and Germany. This made the four swimmers the first Austrian women to win an Olympic medal.
