Klara Milch
Klara Milch (born May 24, 1891 in İzmir ; † July 13, 1970 in Multan ) was an Austrian , Jewish swimmer .
Career
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, swimming competitions for women were on the program for the first time. On July 8th, Milch was eliminated in the first run in the 100 meter freestyle competition. On July 15, 1912, Margarete Adler , Klara Milch, Josephine Sticker and Bertha Zahourek won the bronze medal in the 4 × 100-meter freestyle relay behind the relays from the United Kingdom and Germany. This made the four swimmers the first Austrian women to win an Olympic medal.
