The Josko Windows and Doors GmbH is the second largest window - and door manufacturer in Austria with headquarters in Kopfing im Innkreis . Josko's core business is the manufacture and marketing of windows, all-glass systems, house and interior doors and sun protection systems in the high quality segment.

history

The company's name is made up of the initials of the founder incl. Location, namely JO hann S cheuringer KO pfing . In 1960, the Josko company was established here as a classic joinery by Kommerzialrat Johann Scheuringer senior. founded. The focus on the production of windows and doors began as early as 1970. This specialization led to rapid growth. In 1980 the company entered the market for plastic windows and founded the Ekutherm company. In 1982 Austria's first computer-controlled custom-made window system went into operation in Kopfing. In 1985 a major fire destroyed the entire production of Josko on the outskirts of Kopfing. The company was rebuilt a year later. In 1993 Josko launched the first window with concealed hardware .

In 1995, windows were produced for the first time with profiles developed in-house. In 2000 Josko and Ekutherm merged to form Josko Windows and Doors GmbH. In 2007 Josko was able to increase its market share by 0.5% to 9.5%. Josko was thus the market leader for wooden and aluminum windows for the fourth time in a row. In 2009 Josko exceeded the turnover limit of 100 million euros for the first time in the company's history. In the eventful year 2015, in addition to the inclusion of natural wood floors in the product range, Christa Wagner left the company, who as Ekutherm founder and until then was CEO of the company for many years. On January 1, 2016, her brother Johann Scheuringer jun. Took over. this responsibility and thus ushered in a new chapter in Josko's history.
