Joy Grieveson
Joy Grieveson (actually Elizabeth Joyce Grieveson; born October 31, 1941 in Marylebone ) is a former British sprinter .
In 1962 she won silver over 400 m at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade . At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth , she was eliminated for England starting over 220 yards in the semifinals.
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she reached the semi-finals over 400 m .
In 1966 she failed at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston over 440 yards in advance.
In 1963 and 1965 she became English champion over 440 yards.
