Paul Huebschmann

Paul Huebschmann (born December 9, 1878 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † October 2, 1960 in Pleiserhohn ) was a German pathologist and university professor.

Life

Hübschmann studied medicine at the Albertus University of Königsberg , the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich . In 1903 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. 1909 habilitation he did at the University of Geneva for pathology . From 1911 he was a private lecturer for general pathology and pathological anatomy at the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig . There he was appointed extraordinary associate professor in 1918 . In 1923 he followed the call of the Medical Academy in Düsseldorf . He stayed on the chair for 25 years. Scientifically, he dealt mainly with tuberculosis .
