Juan Morales Hechavarría (born July 12, 1948 in Santiago de Cuba ) is a former Cuban hurdler and sprinter .

At the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 and in Cali in 1971 , he won the bronze medal in the 110-meter hurdles . At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he reached the semifinals in this discipline.

At the same Olympic Games, he had his greatest success in the 4 x 100 meter relay . The Cuban quartet made up of Hermes Ramírez , Morales, Pablo Montes and Enrique Figuerola took silver 0.1 seconds behind the US relay, which set a world record with 38.2 seconds. He also won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Pan American Games in 1967 and 1971. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he was eliminated with the Cuban relay in the preliminary run.

From 1967 to 1973 he was four times in a row Central America and Caribbean champions over 110 meter hurdles. At the Central American and Caribbean Games, he won bronze in the same discipline in 1966 and gold in 1970.
