Hermes Julián Ramírez Limonta (born January 7, 1948 in Guantánamo ) is a former Cuban sprinter .

At the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 , he won bronze over 100 m and with the Cuban team silver in the 4-by-100-meter relay .

The following year he reached the semifinals at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City over 100 m. In the 4 x 100 meter relay, the Cuban quartet with the line-up Ramírez, Juan Morales , Pablo Montes and Enrique Figuerola won the silver medal 0.1 seconds behind the US relay, which set a world record with 38.2 seconds put up.

He also won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Pan American Games in Cali in 1971 and in Mexico City in 1975 . In 1975 he won bronze again in the individual competition over 100 m.

At the Olympic Games in 1972 in Munich , he was eliminated in the run-up to the season. In 1976 in Montreal he failed over 100 m in the first round and came in fifth place with the Cuban relay.

In 1967 and 1969 he was Central America and Caribbean champion both over 100 m and over 200 m . At the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1970, he won silver over 100 m and bronze over 200 m.
