Juan Pablo Di Pace (born July 25, 1979 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine actor and model .

Life

Di Pace was born in July 1979 in Buenos Aires , Argentina , to Marta Maineri and Victorio Di Pace. His sister María Victoria is also active as an actress. At the age of twelve he moved to Spain with his family . Di Pace is fluent in Spanish , Italian and English . At 17 he received a scholarship from the United World College of the Adriatic in Duino-Aurisina ( Italy ). He moved to London to study acting at the London Studio Center. He lived there for a total of ten years. He has been involved in plays for years, including in Chicago and Grease .

Di Pace first attracted attention in 2004 with the music video for Eric Prydz 's hit Call On Me . In the video he was the only man among the aerobic girls . He began his acting career in the British crime series New Tricks - The Crime Specialists . In Great Britain he became known for the Scottish soap opera River City . In 2006 he played the supporting role of Luca Rossi . In the years that followed, he made various guest appearances on British and Spanish series. His international breakthrough came with the erotic thriller Stranded in Paradise (2005) and with the musical Mamma Mia! (2008).

In 2013 he appeared in a supporting role as Miguel Santos on the short-lived NBC television series Camp . In the same year he was engaged for a leading role in the television series Dallas , the sequel to the television series of the same name from the 1980s. There he was seen in the role of Nicolás Treviño from February to September 2014 . From 2016 to 2020 he appeared in the Netflix-produced series Fuller House .
