Juan Vargas Aruquipa (born March 8, 1947 in Achacachi , Bolivia ) is Bishop of Coroico .

Life

Juan Vargas Aruquipa received on 20 July 1980, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 15 January 1992 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Bita and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Coroico . The Bishop of Coroico, Tomás Roberto Manning, OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on March 25th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Potosí , Edmundo Luis Flavio Abastoflor Montero , and the auxiliary bishop in La Paz , Adhemar Esquivel Kohenque . On August 20, 1997, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Coroico.
