Judit Hidasi [ ˈjudit ˈhidɒʃi ] (born July 11, 1948 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian linguist, Japanese scientist and professor of linguistics at the Budapest University of Economics (BGE).

Life

Judit Hidasi began in 1966 to study Russian and English philology as well as general and applied linguistics at the artist faculty of the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) .

After her training at the ELTE in 1971, she taught at the universities of international management and business administration and in 1986 she earned a doctorate in linguistics.

In 1988 she was appointed Head of the Department of Russian Language at Budapest University of Economics , and she was Head of the Department until 1992.

In 1992 she founded the Institute for Oriental Communication Studies and headed it until 1998.

1997 habilitation they are.

From 1998 to 2001 she worked as a deputy head in the Ministry of Education of Hungary and as a secretary at the Hungarian Scholarship Committee (MÖB).

In 1999 she was appointed university professor .

Since 2012 she has taught at Waseda University in Tokyo , at Shirayuri Women's University, Chōfu , Tokyo, at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen , at Sapientia University, Cluj-Napoca , Romania , and since 2015 at Josai University, Sakado , Japan.
