The Budapest University of Economics and Business ( Hungarian : Budapesti Gazdasági Egyetem ; English : Budapest Business School ) for short BGE - is a state business university in Budapest .

history

The Budapest Business School was established in 1999 through the merger of the Pest Business Academy (from 1857), the International Business School (from 1957) and the Academy of Finance and Accounting (from 1962) and these 3 schools continue to exist today in the structure of the Business School. Other notable business schools in Budapest are the Corvinus University of Budapest for Economics and State Administration and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics .
