Julián Lobera y Valtierra
Julián Lobera y Valtierra († August 21, 1435 in Munébrega , Spain) was a Spanish pseudocardinal , who was by antipope Benedict XIII. was appointed.
Life
He was the son of Domingo Lobera and Catalina Clara de Valtierra y Aragón. Lobera y Voltierra studied law at the University of Lleida and married Isabel de Heredia. After he was a widower, he was ordained priest for the diocese of Tarazona and was canon in Tarazona and Calatayud and rector of the University of Lleida. When the Bishop of Vic , Fernando Pérez Calvillo , was appointed Bishop of Tarazona, Lobera became its Vicar General. In 1411 he was appointed canon of the Cathedral of Mallorca and was Camerlengo for the antipope.
Lobera was created cardinal on May 22nd, 1423 by the antipope Benedict . He took part in the conclave in 1423. Then he was appointed by the election winner antipope Clement VIII and handed over to Martin V.
