Julián Mateos
Julián Mateos (born January 15, 1938 in Robledillo de Trujillo , Cáceres province , † December 27, 1996 in Madrid ) was a Spanish actor and film producer .
Life
Mateos, who had started studying philosophy in Salamanca , switched to the fine arts at the Instituto del Teatro in Barcelona and made his first film in 1960 with Los desamparados . In 1964, Mario Camus ' Young Sanchez received a lot of attention . After a little more than 30 films, including a number of spaghetti westerns and a few international productions, he began working increasingly for Spanish television in 1973 before retiring from the performing business in 1976 and setting up the production company Ganesh Films , with which he also worked for his wife Maribel Martín financed.
He died in 1996 of cancer.
