Julia K. Roberts (born February 7, 1991 in Frederick , Maryland ) is an American football player .
Career
In 2010 and 2012 Roberts played for the W-League participants Washington Freedom Futures and Seattle Sounders Women, respectively . In early 2013 she was committed to the first season of the newly founded National Women's Soccer League from Washington Spirit and made her league debut there on April 14, 2013 against the Boston Breakers . Before the 2014 season, Roberts was removed from Washington's roster and subsequently joined the Seattle Reign FC franchise as a reserve player . She returned to the Seattle Sounders Women in May 2014.
National team
Roberts was part of various US youth national teams and took part, among other things, in 2008 with the U-17 national team at the World Cup in New Zealand , where the team reached second place after a final defeat against North Korea.
