Julia Rosa Peer (* 8. October 1985 as Julia Rosa Stockl ) is an Austrian actress , presenter, voice actor and author. She lives in Berlin .

Life

Peer grew up in Tyrol and was discovered during her time as a drama student for a leading role in the Austrian film "In 3 days you're dead" (director: Andreas Prochaska). For her performance of the role Mona, Julia-Rosa received a nomination for the Undine Award in the category Best Young Film Debutante in 2006 and was seen again in 2008 as Mona in the sequel "You're dead in 3 days - Part 2".

Immediately after her debut, other roles followed, including a. as Franziska in the two-part television series “Das Jüngstegericht” (director: Urs Egger) alongside Tobias Moretti, as Hungarian Edina Legedy in two seasons of the television series “Winzerkönig”, alongside Mimi Fiedler in “A Summer in Croatia” (director : Holger Barthel), in a leading role as South Tyrol activist Herlinde Molling in “Geilte Heimat” (Direction: Ernst Gossner), as well as in the female leading role Ida Hofer in the movie “Zingerle” (D: Eric Marcus Weglehner ).

During her time in NYC she was on OFF - Broadway in "The Other Mozart" by Sylvia Milo (directed by Isaac Byrne) at the HERE Arts Center and with her solo show "Leaving Ziller Valley" (directed by Reinhard Göber) at United Solo Festival at Theater Row. She played the bilingual piece in 3 different languages ​​at international festivals in 14 countries and 3 continents.

As a voice actress, Julia-Rosa took on numerous roles in film and television, including a. the role of Guinevere in the movie “King Arthur” by Guy Ritchie (director: Axel Malzacher), Selina Kahn in the main cast of the award-winning BBC series “Wolfblood” and Louise in the Amazon series “The Widow” (director: Cay Michael-Wolff ).

Most recently she moderated at the Berlinale, Munich Film Festival, Zurich Film Festival and Kitzbühel Film Festival.

Julia Rosa Peer is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and speaks fluent German, English, Spanish and French.
