Julian Baumgartner (born July 27, 1994 ) is an Austrian soccer player .
Athletic career
Baumgartner began his career at Union Mehrnbach in Upper Austria . In 2004 he was signed by SV Ried and stayed in their youth department until 2012. After good performance in the Vikings youth team, he was brought into the first team by interim coach Gerhard Schweitzer . He made his debut in the top Austrian league on May 5, 2012 against the later relegated Kapfenberger SV when he came on in the 84th minute for Marco Meilinger . In that Bundesliga season he came to another use.
For the 2016/17 season he moved to the national division SV Wallern .
For the Austrian national soccer team , he has so far been used in the U-19s. Baumgartner played his first international youth game on April 11, 2012 in Lindabrunn against Italy , which was won 3-0.
