Julian Krüper

Julian Krüper (* 1974 in Emsdetten ) is a German lawyer and university professor at the Ruhr University Bochum .

Life

In 1994, after graduating from high school Martinum in Emsdetten, Krüper began studying law at the University of Trier . There he passed his first state examination in law in 1999. After completing his legal clerkship in 2001, he passed his second state examination at the Trier Regional Court . Thereafter, Krüper worked as a research assistant for Martin Morlok at the University of Düsseldorf , where he was also working on his doctorate. At the same time, from 2003 onwards, Krüper studied music in the subject of "artistic training in singing / music theater" at the State University of Music Cologne and the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where he graduated in 2010 with a diploma. In 2006, Krüper completed his doctorate in Düsseldorf. jur. and was appointed to the academic council the following year .

In the summer semester of 2012, Krüper completed his habilitation in Düsseldorf and received the venia legendi for the subjects of public law, constitutional history, constitutional theory and legal sociology. In the same semester he took the chair of his doctoral supervisor Morlok in Düsseldorf. After holding chairs at the universities of Freiburg and Bochum , Krüper has held the professorship for public law, constitutional theory and interdisciplinary legal research at the University of Bochum since the 2013/14 winter semester.
