Julian Ramirez (born June 18, 1989 in Monterrey ) is a Mexican ice hockey player who has played for the Tigres Nuevo Leon since 2014 .
Career
Julian Ramirez began his career as a hockey player in the semi-professional league Mexicana Elite , in which he was on the ice from 2011 to 2013 at the Zapotec Totems . In 2013/14 he played for the team from Metepec before moving to the Tigres Nuevo Leon .
International
For Mexico , Ramirez took part in the Division II World Championships in 2012 , 2013 , 2014 and 2015 . In 2013 he was named the best striker in Group B of Division II. He also took part in the qualifying tournament for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , from which the Mexican team was eliminated in the pre-qualification. He was also on the ice at the 2014 Pan-American ice hockey tournament, in which he and his team took second place.
