Julie Caitlin Brown (born January 27, 1961 in San Francisco , California , United States ) is an American musician and actress .

Life

Brown was born in San Francisco in 1961 and moved to Napa Valley at the age of 18 , where she worked as a jazz and blues singer. She had her first stage appearance in 1983 in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar as Maria Magdalena . In 1988 she went to Florida for two years, where she took part in numerous commercials and also had her first appearances in films and television series. In 1990 she moved to New York, where she did the Broadway musicals Toll it the old Romans and Grand Hoteloccurred. In 1992 she went back to California, where she appeared in numerous television series. Between 1994 and 1998 she played her best-known role as Na'Toth in the science fiction series Babylon 5 .

Julie Caitlin Brown has two sons and is married to actor Craig Damon, who is the father of their younger son.
