Julie Myhre (born July 29, 1996 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Myhre, who competes for the Byåsen IL , became Norwegian junior champion over 7.5 km freestyle in 2013 and over 10 km classic in 2014. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2015 in Almaty , she won the gold medal with the relay. In addition, she ran there on the 15th place over 5 km freestyle and in the sprint and on the 13th place in the skiathlon . In January 2017 she started in Lahti in the Scandinavian Cup for the first time and finished 20th in the 10 km classic and 15th in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , she achieved 17th place in the skiathlon. In the 2018/19 season she achieved six top ten placements, fifth place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. She made her debut in the World Cup in December 2018 in Beitostølen , which she finished in 43rd place over 15 km freestyle. At the 2019 U23 World Championships in Lahti, she finished 25th in the 10 km freestyle, 15th in the 15 km mass start race and eighth in the sprint. After second place in the sprint and first place over 10 km freestyle in the FIS races in Gålå at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, she won second place in the sprint and first place over 10 km freestyle at the Scandinavian Cup in Vuokatti first podium finishes in the Scandinavian Cup. In January 2020 she came in second place in the sprint in Nes Skianlegg and got her first World Cup points at the World Cup in Dresden with seventh place in the sprint. In addition, at the end of the season she achieved 25th place on the ski tour and ended the season in 43rd place in the overall World Cup and first place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup.
