Julien Dillens
Julien Dillens (born June 8, 1849 in Antwerp , † December 24, 1904 in Brussels ) was a Belgian sculptor .
Dillens was the son of the painter Adolf Dillens and studied with Eugène Simonis at the Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles , a renowned art school. In 1877 he was awarded the Prix de Rome for his sculpture Chef gaulois fait prisonnier des Romains .
